Hey - do me a favour will you? Put on the song this was made for! [link]
--------------------------------------------
So, for the longest time I've been into Coldplay. I can't even imagine the time before I got addicted to them back when Parachutes came out - and ever since, it's been like Christmas every time they release a new album.
Well, Coldplay released their newest CD just a few short months ago, and I thought it was about time I showed appreciation for all the years they've been there for me when no one else could be. This summer, I sat out on my co-op's back deck, the sounds of storms approaching and this song playing in the background ...I was doing commissions, but...now wasn't the time for that. Now was the time to chill, and enjoy what little bit of nice weather was left for a northern state. And thus, I grabbed a sheet of bristol, and began envisioning the most picturesque scene for a commemorative, and this is what came of it!
This is my gecko derivative Asyd, in case anyone cares. lulz
So, here you have a personal piece that was all for me! /dances I haven't done too many of those this year, but I'm hoping to change that. I hope you all like!
So take it easy y'all, and live life! <3
----------------------------------------------
The Lyrics:
I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes Listen as the crowd would sing: "Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!" One minute I held the key Next the walls were closed on me And I discovered that my castles stand Upon pillars of salt, and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing Roman cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain Once you know there was never, never an honest word That was when I ruled the world
It was the wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let me in Shattered windows and the sound of drums People couldn't believe what I'd become Revolutionaries wait For my head on a silver plate Just a puppet on a lonely string Oh who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing Roman cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest work But that was when I ruled the world (Ohhhh Ohhh Ohhh)
Hear Jerusalem bells are ringing Roman cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter will call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world (Oooooh Oooooh Oooooh)

You should definatively do more personal-art This one has such a charme... it`s hard to describe. I mainly love the colors here, but also the character is so... sympatic! Realy great work
